Twitter’s Mobile Developer Conference Goes on World Tour

Flight, Twitter’s first annual conference for mobile developers, took place last October, and it must have been a success because Twitter has just announced a worldwide tour.

It’s called Flock, and it could be coming to a city near you.

Twitter launched its Fabric modular mobile platform software development kit (SDK) at Flight and teaching developers how to use the SDK will be the main purpose for the tour.

Hacks, workshops and meetups will also be included.

17 stops are planned in total, starting in the U.S. before expanding internationally.

“We believe the next great app can come from anywhere so we are going everywhere we can to help you learn how to use Fabric to build great apps,” said Jeff Sandquist, Head of Developer and Platform Relations at Twitter.
