Three-quarters of internet users in the United States have recorded and shared a personal video on Facebook in the last six months, compared to less than half who have done the same on YouTube, reveals a new study.
Animoto found that 75.6 percent of U.S. internet users had shared personal video content on Facebook, compared to 49.7 percent for YouTube.
YouTube didn’t even finish second in the poll — 51.9 percent of respondents had shared video content via email.
Text message/SMS (34.1 percent) and Instagram (29.8 percent) rounded out the top five, with Twitter’s share (19.7 percent) perhaps bigger than expected — and bigger than Snapchat.
