What are marketers talking about on Twitter? Who has the most influence, and which countries are leading the way?
Using 10 marketing keywords, Buzzstream and Fractl analysed nearly 5,000 tweets to find out what industry professionals are discussing on Twitter.
And the results? At least half of the marketing conversations on Twitter aim to share helpful, insightful information, with about three in ten marketing tweets containing tips.
Conversation sentiment is overwhelmingly positive (although PR tweets are typically less well received), and tweets from directors perform best amongst top influencers.
Men engage in marketing discourse more than women (or brands), and the United States is dominating the conversation with a 36 percent share.
