Have you started promoting your Black Friday Deals yet? If so, you’re not alone. Retailers started mentioning Black Friday way back in July:

Received July 11, Subject Line “Black Friday in July? It is so on.”

And August:

Received Aug. 21, Subject Line “Black Friday Deals start TOMORROW”

And September:

Received Sept. 26, Subject Line “September Black Friday Freebies”

And, of course, October:

Received Oct. 24, Subject Line “Black Friday Starts Now…Wait, What?”

And, this month, Newegg started running a great Black November campaign:

Received Nov. 1, Subject Line “Black Novemeber 48Hr Kickoff – The Start to a Month of Black Friday Deals”

Received Nov. 2, Subject Line “EGGXTRA! EGGXTRA! Black Out  Deals. Sony Cyber-Shot $149.99 l LG 55” TV $649”

Received Nov. 4, Subject Line “Black November Kickoff Week Continues – Steals Up to 87% Off!”

Received Nov. 5, Subject Line “Exclusive Black November Guest List: You have been invited to save HUGE!”

Faced with another short holiday shopping season, retailers need to be aggressive and creative; and starting the season early is a definite advantage.
