Don’t believe any of the “experts” out there who claim to know how to make Google work for you. Their techniques might work well in the short term, but Google is just as aware of these techniques as you and those “experts” are. If those techniques lead to “false positive” search results (i.e. the top search results are not quality content) then Google can simply change the rules and weed out those results. In the end, I guess the lesson I’ve learned is a simple one that it shouldn’t even need to be said.

So how do you know if your headline is good one or not? You write a headline that you think is great and it’s a winner, but not one single sale. Ouch! I’ve learned that the hardest deal to make is the one you desperately need to make. Some how the other person always senses that. On the other hand, the easiest deals to close occurs when you feel that you don’t need them and really couldn’t care much less.
Write Your First Draft
Start writing to day, and don’t think to hard, don’t edit as you go. Don’t worry about length, grammar, or anything else – just write. You’ve written your first draft; it’s probably too long or too short and loads of grammar errors, but thats ok. As you edit your work you will find that you learn more and more every time you write.

Most gurus do it the other way around – they determin there objective first, and then they can’t make a sale and they wonder why. The more you know about your target audience, the easier it will be to give them what they want. Now that you know your customer to whom your comunicating, it’s imperative you know the product or service inside out.

Don’t send any marketing message to any one without their permission. I’ll subscribe to a news letter or download an eBook and then at some time I’ll unsubcribe. Now I should not be recieving any more offers or emails, but yet I find even the most well know gurus online are practicing bad tactics. As its obvious they have saved your details from the list you unsubcribed from and saved you onto another account that does not require double opt in or its their own email client.
Give your customers what they want, and then you’ll have what you want. Give first. Once you know your customer and what they want, you’ll find it much easier to write good copy.

Learn how to write correct sentences. Successful writing means putting sentences together precisely. The second secret is to keep your sentences concise and short. This way you will have fewer errors. Now short does not necessarily mean simple, if you can say some thing in seven words instead of twelve, then say it in seven.
Don’t let your sentences run on? This is caused by missing punctuation, so try and learn correct punctuation.
Remember when you write, you will always have to edit your work. The first piece is never the final draft, you will have to edit and re edit several times, until you have it the way you want it, and you know it makes sense.
Replace rational words with emotional words, since people buy on emotion. You do this by not using intellectual, bland and boring words. Also don’t speak corporate babble that business people use to sound important.
As you start you’re writing career, try to keep learning, and don’t stop learning as much as you can. Many online copywriters are seven figure earners, and they started just by practicing consistently.
